- Thameur Mekki is an independent Tunisian journalist. He observes and writes about the cultural scene in Tunisia for »Huffington Post Maghreb«, as well as for various European magazines and newspapers. Amongst other subjects, he writes about independent art and artists, alternative urban culture, and different forms of expression among emerging artists. He also produces and hosts music concerts and programs for TV and radio. Thameur Mekki is involved in many campaigns as a free speech advocate. He is a graduate of l’Institut de Presse et des Sciences de l’Information de Tunis (IPSI).
