ZKM podcasts

Listen to and see reports about our exhibitions, interviews with artists and curators or documentaries about exhibited works – our podcast channels offer exciting facts about the contents of the ZKM.

Dusty and boring? Not the ZKM! The ZKM primarily deals with the present and the future! In its artistic exhibitions, it takes up current, socially relevant topics, connects disciplines such as science, art and economy, or sets important impulses.

Symposia, lectures, readings, concerts, performances: the range of events offered at the ZKM is broad! Thematically we move between art and philosophy, science and technology as well as economy and politics.

The ZKM always strives to provide a cross-disciplinary view of current and socially relevant topics and is in constant dialog with people from a wide variety of fields and backgrounds.

The ZKM | Center for Art and Media was founded in 1989 with the visionary idea of continuing the classical arts into the digital age. This is why it is occasionally referred to as the »digital Bauhaus«.

From painting, sculpture, video art, performance and computer-based works to music - the ZKM collection comprises works and documents of the 20th and 21st centuries of all artistic genres.
