In the context of the announcement of the 5th Higher Education Amendment Act, the HfG is planning to introduce an international postgraduate program that will offer a joint platform for artistic-scientific research projects. We at the ZKM are happy to be involved as a cooperation partner. The symposium “Shifting Paradigms” is a first starting point for an international dialog between scientists, teachers, artists and students on the possibilities of renewing research practices. After all, the complexities of the present and the generational change provide sufficient reason to rethink research - especially in the ever-increasing networking of art and science.
With: Bernadette Bensaude-Vincent, Matthias Bruhn, Filipa César, Constanze Fischbeck, Alistair Hudson, Susanne Kriemann, Armin Linke, Tina Lorenz, Monica Narula, Simon Sheikh, Joy Mariama Smith, Nina Zschocke and others.
