Electroacoustic music by Horragio Vaggione, Francois Donato, Pierre Boeswillwald, Luigi Ceccarelli et al.

The central importance of the piano as a chordal instrument with a dynamic envelope has made a lasting impression in the world of music. Many composers have examined the tonal, gestural and technical potential of the piano or of a string that has been struck. This fired the imagination of electroacoustic composers, because they were able to overcome the limits of mechanics, volume and tonality by technical means, thus enabling them to begin where the virtuosos had been forced to leave off.
