The work rests on the interaction between dance / movement and acoustics / sound. It is a quest for common forms, their conditions and potential. A process of dissolution is entered into, beginning with language, which represents the basic connection between body and sound. Language is dissected into its sensory and semantic components. Its method is the repetition of a handed-down system that stretches far beyond ourselves; its instrument is the individual body, the epicentre of intimacy. Souvenir passes through various stages of nearness and distance, difference and similarity at the interface between body and sound.
