The Karlsruhe University of Music as Guest at ZKM 2007
Wed, February 07, 2007 – Fri, February 09, 2007, Concert
The ZKM has long worked in the most diverse co-operative projects with the Karlsruhe Conservatory of Music. This year’s co-operation will be inaugurated by a jointly organized concert, where the composer Márton Illés will present an evening of music. Nuove Scene Polidimensionali is a thoroughly dramaturgically shaped concert in which the individual works become parts of a multi-dimensional scene. Illés was already the recipient of the Composition Prize of the Hungarian National Television at the age of 16. In the meantime his works have become regular features at well-known festivals.

On Friday, the ComputerStudio will be the guest of the ZKM. In addition to works by Matthias Ockert, Damon Thomas Lee, Birke Bertelsmeier and Sijie Zhang, the Laptop Orchestra, founded last year, will perform its own compositions and live improvisations.
