Francesco Gesualdi – Breath

Accordionist Francesco Gesualdi interprets a series of new compositions by Italian and German composers. The evening features premier performances of new works by Ludger Brümmer, Gianluca Ulivelli and Vito Žuraj, as well as compositions by Mauro Cardi and Nicola Sani. In the Sound Dome, composers develop new strategies for integrating accordion and space.

With his broad-ranging repertoire extending from Bach through to Rihm, Francesco Gesualdi plays in national and international concert halls and festivals, and issues regular releases on renowned music labels. The works of these composers are also scheduled for release.
