With »Infiltrationen 3.0« Stefan Prins makes a new version of »Infiltrationen«, a composition from 2009 for 4 electric guitars and electronics, for string quartet, thé icon of classical music. 

The iconic sound of the string quartet is however distorted fundamentally. Every instrument is amplified and this amplified signal is manipulated by 2 FX-pedal players and ultimately by the digital »switchbox« of the composer himself. 

Before the audience is submerged in the peculiar sounds of »Infiltrationen 3.0« the composer elaborates on the ideas and techniques behind his work in general and »Infiltrationen« in particular.
