Create games in 48 hours

The Global Game Jam (GGJ) is the world's largest Game Jam event - a kind of hackathon focused on game development that takes place in numerous locations around the world.

In the year 2020, a dedicated Jam Site will be established at the HfG Karlsruhe for the eighth time. Experienced (professional) game designers meet up with young developers: Everyone is welcome! About 50 people are invited to jam and become part of the worldwide developer community. Within only 48 hours new, unique computer games are created on a given topic.

The results - playable computer games on a specific topic - are presented on the last day. The presentation shows all games that were created during the 48 hours Jam at the HfG Karlsruhe. Interested parties are welcome to get to know the games of the Global Game Jam. The presentation is of course open to the public and free of charge.
