Joint ZKM/IRCAM-Artists in Residence Núria Gimenez and Marlon Schumacher present their artistic approaches and models of spatial sound synthesis in miniature studies.

Visitors can explore their artistic approaches individually in an installation. In an unusual setting of speakers with virtual microphones, physical and perceptual spatialization algorithms, visitors can immerse themselves in three-dimensional projections of multi-layered sound objects and textures with different densities, shapes and directions.

There will be projected fragments of Dan Brown's installations »Island is Land« and »Nude descending« as part of installation. 

The installation is accessible during the period of its presentation (21.–23.09.2018) during the museum's opening hours.
