Lumen Prints
Fri, September 09, 2022 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm CEST
From 16 years. With registration - limited number of participants!
We capture impressions and traces of life on photographic paper with the help of sunlight and follow in the footsteps of the first photographers and photographic processes. As a completely cameraless process, the contours and transparencies of objects in direct contact with the paper create so-called "lumenprints" or "shadow catchers".
By using algae and plant species, whose chemical properties resemble some components of classical photo developers, light and shadow compositions are created in which the beings seem to communicate themselves. Working together with plant species, we become designers and creators of shared portraits.
Registration is possible until 12:00 noon the day before.
