»Like Roots in the Soil« tells two stories at once. Two men – one older and one younger – are walking through the same city.

Players can switch between the perspectives. The old man walks through a desolate place, with crashed cars and smog ever­ywhere, and he has a rifle slung over his shoulder. The younger man sees a diffe­rent version – a futuristic, quiet space. The question is: How are they connec­ted?

The interaction in this game is minimal. Players can concentrate on the changes of perspective and the course of the story.
