Artist interview: Orm Finnendahl

With »soundspaces«, the instrumental combination of saxophone and bassoon will be presented for the first time with a newly designed concert program. Music-literature for the combination has been rarely available until now, although this connection offers great potential for combination possibilities and sound contrasts. The acoustic institutes ZKM Karlsruhe and the ICST (Institute for Computer Music and Sound Technology Zürich) have supported »soundspaces« in the development and recording phase with exclusively developed sound technology and software.
