»Weaving (Hi)stories« by Farzane Vaziritabar

The performance artist and Iranian-born Farzane Vaziritabar will perform »Weaving (Hi)stories« as part of »BLACK FLAGS«, based on the video work »Ombre indigène (Part 2, Martinique)« by Edith Dekyndt, which shows a flag of black hair blowing in the wind. She invites you to a participatory experience in which the strands of fabric and hair tell powerful stories rooted in different cultures. This performance combines personal stories of struggle and resilience into a collective story that tells of our shared experiences. Through the ancient art of weaving, we explore how individual actions and traditional symbols come together to create a fabric of unity and hope.
