3D-Festival BEYOND

From October 3 to 6, Karlsruhe once again hosted the international 3D festival BEYOND with the ZKM | Karlsruhe and the Staatliche Hochschule für Gestaltung (HfG).  Over three days, the latest developments in the 3D field were presented in the form of presentations, an international 3D expert symposium and a diverse 3D film program. The first performance was the new production of Peter Weibel's intoxication concert »The Origin of Noise - the Noise of Origin« performed in Krems on the evening of October 2. The following opening party offered a first opportunity to get to know each other and to exchange ideas. In the following three days, numerous panel discussions, films and presentations focused on technological developments and their current application.
