ZKM is an exceptional cultural institution worldwide, where production and research, exhibitions and performances, mediation and dissemination, conservation and restoration are intensively linked. On a total exhibition area of around 15,000 m², current developments in art and society are presented in all media forms and processes from oil painting to the app. The exhibitions at ZKM attract hundreds of thousands of visitors of all ages every year.
