The Web 2.0, with its specific range of features such as Weblogs and Podcasts and multi-media compatible mobile phones has meanwhile become an integral part of youth culture. The everyday life of young people – when compared to their parents – has changed substantially. What does this signify for this generation’s behavior at school, during their leisure time and in professional life, for learning both in and outside of school and for the role of educationalists? Starting out from these questions, the conference for specialists focuses on the central aspects of Web 2.0. The speakers, as research scientists and practitioners make (participative) possibilities of Web 2.for educational work familiar.
