Event
Open House 2012
Fri, January 06, 2012 10:00 am CET
The ZKM | Karlsruhe invites visitors to take a peek behind the scenes for the Open Museum event. For example, special tours lead into the ZKM | Laboratory for Antiquated Video Systems or through the ZKM | Media Library and its inventories. One of the highlights for the little visitors is the children's concert "Mozart's Sound Machine – Participate in Composition" at the ZKM_Cube. At 4 p.m. the ZKM will announce the "Furious Citizen's Walk" (WutbürgerWalk), in which all visitors may participate in artistic forms. This is followed by the panel discussion "Will Participation Save Us? Participation in Culture, Politics and the Church", which offers opportunity for discussion. In addition, one may also familiarize oneself with the ZKM presence on Web 2.0, and take home a ZKM exhibition poster. Admission to all events, as well as to the exhibitions at the ZKM, is free during the Open House event.
