GLOBALE: Opening of the exhibitions

The first GLOBALE exhibitions show two spectacular large-scale installations across approx. 15 square meters: At »Cloudscapes«, Transsolar + Tetsuo Kondo produce a cloud in the ZKM spaces and Ryoji Ikeda presents with »micro | macro« large format installations and soundscapes.
The official opening will take place at 2 pm in the ZKM_Foyer. In addition to Karlsruhe Lord Mayor Dr. Frank Mentrup, State Secretary Jürgen Walter, Günther Oettinger (EU Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society) and Peter Weibel will hold speeches. Artist HA Schult will be stopping at the ZKM_Forecourt on this day within the scope of his project »Action Blue« and the new app Karlsruhe Maptory − developed by the ZKM − will be available from this Sunday as well − whether for your own mobile device or at the rental station at the ZKM.
