Hack Your City Karlsruhe

As part of the Science Year Future City »Hack your City Karlsruhe« is scheduled to take place in cooperation with the Open Knowledge Foundation at the site of the Alte Schlachthof [Old Slaughter House] from June 13-14. Urban planners, programmers, designers, scientists and city enthusiasts come together to elaborate new ideas for Karlsruhe. To this end, cutting-edge technologies (sensors, 3D printers etc.) are made available to participants for them to develop intelligent solutions for the city. Special skills or knowledge are not presupposed – only ideas for the city’s future.
