Traveling to the ZKM 

The ZKM | Center for Art and Media is easily accessible both by car and public transport. 

Traveling by Car

​From highway A5 and A8
​On the A8 traveling north from Stuttgart, take the A5 towards »Basel«. Leave the highway at exit »Karlsruhe Süd« towards Karlsruhe Stadt.

​From highway A65
The A65 merges with the B10. Leave the interstate road B10, exit at exit No. 4 and follow the signs for the »ZKM«.

Parking
The multi-story car park (subject to fees) accommodates parking lots for 700 vehicles. These can be reached via Südendstraße. There are two charging stations for electric cars. One station is reserved for cars of »Stadtmobil«, the other station can be used by all underground garage parkers.

Traveling by public transport

Traveling by Tram
From the central station [Hauptbahnhof] via line 2 (towards »ZKM – Siemensallee«) to the stop »ZKM« (travel time approx. 6 mins)
From the stop »Europaplatz (Karlstraße)« via line 2 (towards »ZKM – Hauptbahnhof« [Hauptbahnhof]) to the stop »ZKM«  (travel time approx. 12 mins)
 
Traveling by Bus
​From the main train station by bus route 55 (towards »Kühler Krug – Bannwaldallee«) to the stop »Lorenzstraße – ZKM« (travel time approx. 15 mins)
