KA MA Quartet | Jazz Festival 2016

After three regular studio albums and a live vinyl LP, the KA MA Quartet is releasing a tribute album for the first time in September 2016. In addition to new compositions from the Quartet, a fresh interpretation of John Coltrane’s legendary “A Love Supreme” suite can be heard.
The Quartet has been able to win over Indonesian percussionist Nippy Noya, one of the most well-known conga players/legends in Europe, as a guest for the production. Nippy Noya already helped to form the sound of European jazz-rock in the 70s and played with jazz musicians such as John McLaughlin, Stan Getz, Billy Cobham, Chaka Khan and Clark Terry.
