The ZKM has something for everyone.

For example, there are guided tours.
On guided tours, we visit our exhibitions together.
Tours are available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Here are the accessible tours we offer:

Simple understanding - guidance in simple language

This is a simple guided tour. We speak in simple language.
We use simple words to explain our art.
Simple language can help many people.
For example, people who are learning German.
Many people with learning difficulties find simple language helpful.
All people are welcome.

Perceive and feel - guidance for all

Tour the museum and use all your senses!
For example, our senses are used to:
There are five senses: hearing, touch, smell, and sight.

We ask ourselves:
How can we use our senses to understand art?

We want to find out:
What do we feel?

This tour is also open to people with impaired vision.

Descriptive tour

During the tour, the artworks are described in detail.
The descriptions are spoken live.
They help you to visualize the works.

It's not just about what the artworks look like.
Techniques, construction, and sounds are also explained.

Some parts of the artworks can also be touched.
This allows you to explore shapes and materials with your hands.

To visit the exhibition, you must buy a ticket.
You will be told how much you have to pay at the cash desk.
The guided tour is free.
