»Video Art Restoration«
More than ten years ago, the production of cathode ray tube (CRT) screens was discontinued, spare parts are scarce and expertise is in danger of being lost. The company Colorvac has set up its CRT Lab at the ZKM and has made the long-term preservation of video art its goal. Visitors will gain insight into the collection of historical CRTs and equipment and learn new things about how the technology works.
