Biography

As a journalist for pop culture, Nahuel Stoppa illuminates the links between pop and society. Since 2015, he has been working at Kobalt Productions, primarily in the Berlin editorial department of the pop magazine TRACKS on Arte. As a writer and editor for TV and online, he reports on the club scene in Europe, formative figures of new pop, internet phenomena, and current trends in the music industry. In recent years, he has portrayed club collectives such as Bala Club, Principe Discos and Underground Resistance, pop stars such as Ed Sheeran and Michael Stipe, as well as sound visionaries such as Holly Herndon, SOPHIE and Charli XCX for TRACKS.
Currently, Stoppa is also working for the TRACKS spinoff TRACKS East, which was nominated for the German Television Award in 2022. In 2021, Nahuel Stoppa was nominated for Music Journalist of the Year (Germany) at the International Music Journalism Awards.
