Can we trust artificial intelligence (AI)? »TRUST^AI« allows you to come up with a personal answer to this question in a conversation with an AI.

We don't know what kind of information our devices are collecting about us. We know even less about what big corporations (trusts) are doing with that data. Since much of our communication and work is no longer possible without smartphones and computers, the question of the trustworthiness of software and its makers becomes more urgent.

The installation by Bernd Lintermann and Florian Hertweck brings to light the dangers of technologies that continuously "see" or measure us through a series of stories. To do so, they use AI technologies that are already available and built into many everyday devices. »TRUST^AI« is thus a work of science fiction: it extrapolates possible future scenarios from the present and makes them emotionally tangible.
