One thing is certain at the Karlsruhe Forum's symposium on "Democracy": democracy is diverse, it thrives on participation and shaping and it is not inviolable. In addition to lectures on the topic from a legal, cultural, psychological, media and socio-political perspective, guests can expect numerous impulses on the question of what and who constitutes and supports our democracy, what dangers it is exposed to and how to counter them. The conference raises questions, attempts to find answers and invites discussion.
