Christina Kubisch. Waves, Walks and Wilderness

A sound artist of the first generation: Christina Kubisch is represented at the most important festivals and exhibitions of media art worldwide. The composer now presents a cross-section of her work as well as the world premiere of her latest piece in a concert, for which she transforms electromagnetic vibrations recorded at the ZKM into sound. In addition to the concert, Kubisch will be redesigning the Electrical Walk she created for Karlsruhe in 2005 and invites visitors to take a walk through the city, in order to experience the city's electromagnetic vibrations using special headphones.
