Isabelle Konrad

Biography

Isabelle Konrad is a media artist and filmmaker. Her artistic practice explores how social power structures shape bodies, behaviour and identity. She studied Media Art at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (HfG) and founded the association Lichtspielsauna e.V.. Her film installation It’s Okay Now was shown at ABA e.V. Berlin and BBK Karlsruhe. Other exhibitions include Mindbombs at Kunsthalle Mannheim and her solo exhibition at Galerie Tobias Schrade. Her cinematic work encompasses the feature film Purpur, which was awarded “Best Women Film Maker” at the Boden International Film Festival. She is currently developing the XR project Anima Morale, which has been nominated for the AUREA Award 2026.
