Biography
METS is the acronym of the Department of Electronic Music and Sound Engineering at the “Giorgio Federico Ghedini” State Conservatory of Cuneo, in northwestern Italy. Founded in 2001, METS attracts students from across the country thanks to a faculty of established professionals active on the international scene. Both Bachelor’s and Master’s students in Electroacoustic and Multimedia Composition regularly take part in festivals and concerts in several European countries through METS’ international partnerships and projects - such as the European Union-funded European Art-Science-Technology Network for Digital Creativity (EASTN-DC) – as well as in the United States, thanks to collaborations with leading institutions including the Manhattan School of Music in New York.
