Insights into the MARS! Habitat on Karlsruhe’s Market Place

On the final day of the mission, the dome of the MARS! Habitat opens to visitors. During the Open House Day on October 27, interested visitors can enter the habitat, take a closer look at the mission’s equipment, and talk with the ZKM astronauts.

During guided tours of the habitat, the crew offers insights into their daily lives in confined spaces and with limited resources. The ZKM astronauts guide visitors through the dome and share accounts from their digital logbook: What questions have they investigated? How do they organize living together in a confined space? And what insights are they taking away from the experiment?
