Nine buckets in a seemingly random order and filled with differently colored water stand in front of a wall, on which there is an image of three sides of a dice with nine dots. The buckets are filmed by a camera positioned on the ceiling, and the recording is then projected vertically on the projected dice, forming its dots. On a real dice there is an empty bucket without a bottom. A second camera inside the dice looks upwards. If an observer puts their hand into the bucket, it sticks out of one of the dice’s dots. The recordings from the cameras in the physical dice and on the ceiling are layered in a video-mixer with blue coloring and are then projected. With this work Weibel points to the shrinkage of distances, the separation of messenger and message, the transcending of the body in digital space.
