Aldizar Ahmad Ghifari
Biography
Aldizar Ahmad Ghifari is the director of Kitchen Council, a terracotta production house based in Jatiwangi, Indonesia. Kitchen Council researches traditional terracotta uses and experiments with cutlery, architectural elements, and ceramic musical instruments. In addition to production, Kitchen Council conducts ceramics workshops for students and the Jatiwangi community who wish to deepen their understanding of ceramics beyond tiles and bricks. Kitchen Council is also active in organising the three annual Ceramic Music Festivals, as well as the Rampak Genteng roof tile orchestra in Jatiwangi.
