It received the 2014 ArtsWriters.org grant from Creative Capital and the Warhol Foundation and is currently being developed at New Inc, the New Museum’s cultural incubator. Daniel has published with journals including World Picture Journal, Leonardo, and Media-N Journal, and presented at SXSW, GLI.TC/H, SIGGRAPH, and Media Art Histories among others. He has been an artist-in-residence at Pioneer Works, Harvestworks, and Signal Culture, and has exhibited work at the Whitney Museum, Museau do Chiado, Haus der elektronischen Künste, TRANSFER Gallery, and Higher Pictures. His work has been featured in ArtNews, the New York Times, and the Boston Globe.
