Hannah Pilarczyk, born in Hamburg in 1977, has worked as an editor in the culture department of SPIEGEL/SPIEGEL ONLINE since 2009, following positions at the taz and NEON. She is a member of the advisory board of the Association of German Film Critics, the Marburg Camera Prize and the board of trustees of the Haus des Dokumentarfilms. Lectureships in online journalism and film criticism. Her publications include: »I had the time of my life. The film 'Dirty Dancing' and its meaning« (Verbrecher Verlag, 2012). In March 2022, she curated the series »Comizi d'autore – contemporary Italian filmmakers in the footsteps of Pier Paolo Pasolini« at Arsenal Berlin.
