Hariolf Grupp
Biography
Prof. Dr. Hariolf Grupp is vice director of the Fraunhofer-Institute for Systemts and Innovation Research (ISI). He studied physics and mathematics at the University of Heidelberg, received his PhD in 1978. 1997 he finished a postdoctoral thesis in economics at the Technical University Berlin. Since 1984 he works at the Fraunhofer ISI, where he became vice director in 1996. 1988 he received the Joseph-von-Fraunhofer-Award. Since January 2001 he holds the chair for System Dynamics and Innovation at the Institute Institute for Economic Policy Research (IWW). His research fields are the economics of industry, of innovation and technology management.
