Janne Kummer is a multi-disciplinary artist and educator who explores the intersection of Performing Arts, Digital Media, Game Design, and Critical Theory. Their artistic practice centers around the impact of Digitalisation on the assessment and perception of Bodies, drawing on themes such as Techno/ Cyber/Datafeminism, New Materialism, and Other-than-Human-Agency. Through sensor and actuator enhanced interactive installations, they bridge the gap between analogue and digital spaces, using their work to expose power structures and envision queer-feminist futures. JK believes in collaborative processes and their potential to be a source of healing and meaningfulness. Their creative process is informed by a somatic understanding, recognizing the body as a primary source of knowledge.
