Jee-Hae Kim
Biography
Jee-Hae Kim has been responsible for the media artworks of the Nationalgalerie at Hamburger Bahnhof - Museum für Gegenwart - Berlin as Collection Scientist since 2019. She studied art history, philosophy, and theater, film and television studies at Seoul National University in South Korea (Bachelor of Arts) and at the University of Cologne (Magister Artium). She worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Art History there and, among other things, supervised the sub-project on the interdependencies of art and technologies of the research project on radio art (2011-2017). Currently, her research interests are focused on the aesthetic potential of cooperative action performances, especially in slow-scan television projects, and on interdisciplinary documentation procedures of time-based art.
