Jessica Ware

Biography

Dr. Jessica Ware is curator of invertebrate zoology at the American Museum of Natural History, researching evolution of behavioral and physiological adaptations in insects, with emphasis how these occur in Odonata (dragonflies & damselflies) and Blattodea (cockroaches and termites). Jessica is co-founder of the Entomologists of Color collective (www.entopoc.org), and BlackInEntomology (www.blackinento.com).  She currently serves as Vice President of The Entomological Society of America (www.entsoc.org) and is the President of the Worldwide Dragonfly Association (www.worlddragonfly.org)
