Julia Grillmayr

Julia Grillmayr is a literary and cultural scholar, journalist and science communicator based in Vienna and Linz. She holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Vienna and has conducted research on contemporary science fiction literature and futurological scenario technology at the Linz University of the Arts. Her research interests include speculative (eco)feminist philosophy and cyberpunk. She creates the radio series Superscience Me - Science, Fiction, Speculation on Radio Orange, does broadcasts for Ö1 (Radiokolleg, Vom Leben der Natur) and podcasts for the Austrian Academy of Sciences. She spends the rest of her time in the forests of Vienna's Danube floodplains and in tap shoes.
