Klemens Budde
- Biography
Prof. Dr. med. Klemens Budde is Senior Physician at the Medical Clinic with a focus on Nephrology and Internal Intensive Care Medicine at Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin. Since 2006 he has held the endowed professorship there for pharmacodynamics of immunosuppression after kidney transplantation. In 2004, Klemens Budde received the Hans U. Zollinger Research Award of the Society of Nephrology for outstanding achievements in his field. He is a member of numerous national and international medical associations. Since 2016, he has been leading the Medical Allround-Care Service Solutions (MACSS) project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi), in which partners from science and industry are developing a patient-centred smart health service platform.
Klemens Budde is head of the Health, Medical Technology, Care working group of the Learning Systems Platform.
