Maximilian Schich

Biography
Maximilian Schich (*1974, Munich, Germany) is a multidisciplinary scientist, who initially studied art history and classical archaeology in Munich and Berlin. His PhD first characterizes antique reception as a complex network, rooted in earlier work with large knowledge graphs. Schich further developed a general network framework of quantitative cultural history at BarabásiLab in Boston and with Dirk Helbing in Zurich. Currently, he leads the EU-financed ERA Chair for Cultural Data Analytics at Tallinn University. He lives and works in Estonia.
