Perla Innocenti

Biography
Perla Innocenti is Research Fellow in History of Art, University of Glasgow (UK). She is currently principal investigator of the EU project MeLa* (see the online publication »European Crossroads«, www.mela-project.eu/upl/cms/attach/20121119/181643911_6953.pdf ) and coinvestigator of the EU projects ECLAP and SHAMAN. She was coinvestigator of the EU project DL.org and collaborated on developing the digital preservation projects funded by the European Commission: DigitalPreservationEurope, Planets (Preservation and Long-Term Access through Networked Services), and CASPAR. Prior to this, she was at Politecnico di Milano (IT) researching information systems for industrial design, and coordinating digital libraries activities and projects. She holds a degree in history of modern art from the University of Rome La Sapienza, and a Master’s degree in management and communication of cultural heritage from Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa (IT).
