Peyman Toreini
- Biography
Dr. Peyman Toreini is a postdoctoral researcher at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and team lead of the "Eye-based Interactive Systems" at Institute of Information Systems and Marketing (IISM). He received his Ph.D. from KIT under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Alexander Maedche in 2020. Before, he accomplished his M.Sc. in Media Informatics at RWTH Aachen University and did a B.Sc. in Information Technology from Iran. His research focuses on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Information Systems (IS). In particular, Toreini is interested in designing interactive systems and novel user experiences enabled by eye-trackers on desktop stations and smart glasses.
