Biography
Raimer Jochims, self-taught painter, studied philosophy, art history, and archaeology at the University of Munich (1955–1957 and 1965–1968, Ph.D. on Konrad Fiedler). 1967–1968 teaching assignment at the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Karlsruhe and 1968–1971 at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste München, Munich. 1971–1997 professor at the Staatliche Hochschule für Bildende Künste (Städelschule) in Frankfurt am Main. He lives in Maintal, DE.
