Biography
Scot Gresham Lancaster is a composer, performer, instrument builder and educator working at the boundary between science and art, specifically developing advanced techniques in sonification. He does research and performance using the expanding capabilities of computer networks to create new environments for cross-discipline expression. His interest is in the behavior of interconnected music machines to create innovative ways for performers and computers to interact. Gresham Lancaster has collaborated in »co-located« performances in real time over networks. He has worked with multimedia prototyping and user interface theory. (scot.greshamlancaster.com)
