Biography
Initially studying acting, Yasmina Reza was then offered numerous engagements on stage. She began writing in 1987. Her first two plays received the prestigious MOLIÈRE theater prize. Her third play “Art” enjoyed worldwide success, going on to win awards, among others, the TONY AWARD and the LAURENCE OLIVER AWARD. “Art” was her breakthrough, and she advanced to become the most performed contemporary dramatist worldwide.
