Dennis Del Favero: Cross Currents

»Cross Currents« by the Australian artist Dennis Del Favero, who was artist-in-residence at ZKM in 1998, is the second publication in the ZKM digital arts edition, a monographic series highlighting important works of interactive art Del Favero's project completes a trilogy based on events surrounding the conflicts in Former Yugoslavia and focusing on the sexual dimension of the war. Narrating the relationship between a young mail-order bride, who has fled from Croatia only to be forced into prostitution in Berlin, and the Serbian bodyguard hired as her »minder«, »Cross Currents« goes on to examine the aftermath of war.
