Frederik Duerinck
Biography
Frederik Duerinck (*1976, NL) lives and works in Breda, NL, where he studied documentary filmmaking at the St. Joost Art Academy. Beside working as a filmmaker and an artist, Duerinck is the lead designer of the award-winning, multi-sensory installation Algorithmic Perfumery, and a co-author of the book Sense of Smell. In his work, Duerinck explores the boundaries of conventional storytelling by combining embodied narratives with olfactory experiences.
