Yunchul Kim
Biography
Yunchul Kim (*1970, Seoul, KR) lives and works in Seoul, KR. He studied electronic music at Chugye University for the Arts in Seoul, and audiovisual art at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne, DE. Combining science, technology, philosophy, music, and cosmology, he creates environments that imagine realities beyond human perception. His installations bring together humans, non-humans, machines, and materials as equal parts of dynamic systems, suggesting that matter itself is active and constantly changing.
